Installation Guide

We have created an easy to follow installation guide. Some kits and vehicles vary, so you might have to modify some of the instructions to fit your unique application. This basic overview, however, will serve as a guide to installing most HID kits on most vehicles.

Included Parts

You want to make sure you have the following parts in your kit:
A. Ballast(s)
B. HID Bulb(s) and wiring harnesses
C. Ballast bracket(s)

Replacing the Bulbs

Now its time to get started. First, remove your old bulbs. Check your vehicles manual if you are unsure of how to do this. If your bulbs have dust caps you will need to remove them. After you remove the dust cap (if you have one) you need to drill a 1 inch hole in them so that the wiring for the HID bulbs can fit through them.
After you have removed your bulbs and modified the dust caps, proceed by installing your new HID bulbs just as you would a factory bulb. Connect the HID bulbs to your factory vehicle connectors. If you have dust caps you must run the wiring through the hole you drilled. Now you can connect your bulbs to your ballasts.

Mounting the Ballasts

Now you can mount your ballasts in the engine bay. Choose a clean, uncluttered location that is away from any moving parts or extreme heat. Use screws, bolts, zip-ties, etc. Once you have your ballast mounted in a safe location, re-check that everything is connected properly.

Finishing Up

Now re-connect your battery cables and check a third time that everything is connected properly. Then make sure your vehicles headlight fuse is rated at 20 amps or higher. If not, replace the fuse with a 20 amp fuse. Now you can enjoy your new HID lights! It is a good idea to turn them on and leave them for 5-10 minutes.
